Well the first month of 2014 has nearly slipped past already – I can’t believe how quickly it’s gone! So my question is…..did you set any goals for yourself and your business for 2014?
I did – and a couple of them quite daunting too! My biggest goal is participating in TOUGH MUDDER in August. Anyone who knows me knows that is HUGE as fitness hasn’t been my thing for say….20 years or so!
But, I have a goal and I know the steps I need to make it happen. And there’s no way I could do it without the help of an awesome team. I have a Success Coach (both business and life), a Personal Trainer, a Chiropractor, a group of great friends I train with and draw motivation and inspiration from each week, and a wonderful supportive family.
It’s the same in business – you need to be surrounded by a team to help you achieve your goals. That can be a challenge when you’re a Solopreneur because the business owner is often the person that does everything. But think how much easier it would be if you built a virtual team and outsourced those tasks that you probably can do, but they’re not your strength and will probably end up costing you more in the long run. A virtual team may look something like this – IT Guru, Web/Graphic Designer, Digital Printer, Copywriter and of course a Virtual Assistant (VA).
So free up some of your time by outsourcing the tasks you’re not good at, or simply don’t like doing, and get on with achieving your goals. Make 2014 a great year!
